What a masterpiece!!! This one’s for oud lovers and I mean real oud lovers. I had tried BTV dasman but that was a while ago and I don’t remember the scent profile (so technically this was a blind buy for me). Most oud/rose combos lean too heavily on one side – either too much oud or too much rose, with one or the other just playing in the background. But this one is well balanced and that kick of Assam oud is more than enough to satisfy my oud cravings. This is a bottle that will always have a place in my collection. Since I can’t clearly remember Dasman the closest I could compare it to would be something like Zack & Dixit Ghaliya Hind (but way less animalic/barnyard), Jamr Al Oud Jamr Midnight or Nishane Mana. This is an absolute beauty and easily one of my top three scents from the house of Faayab. The longevity is beast mode as well. 100% recommended if you love oud.
